Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve sits on a scenic peninsula that extends into Long Island Sound. It offers miles of bridle paths and walking, jogging, hiking, biking and cross-country ski trails through woodland and meadows. Fishing requires a permit, and a regional diving permit is also offered. Environmental interpretive programs are available for the public, schools and youth groups. Bus visits require tickets bought in advance from the Babylon permit office.
