About this park
Trail View State Park is a 400-acre, 7.4-mile linear park linking the Nassau-Suffolk Greenbelt Trail from Cold Spring Harbor State Park on the north shore of Suffolk County to Bethpage State Park. New York acquired the land in the 1960s intending a parkway connecting Caumsett State Historic Park to the south shore. Hiking, bird watching, jogging, walking and bicycling are allowed year-round, with cross-country skiing in winter.
