This Privacy Policy explains how ParkedRV ("ParkedRV," "we," "us") handles information when you visit parkedrv.com (the "Site"). The Site is an informational guide: it lets you search and browse campgrounds, RV parks and state parks across the United States, and it features RV tools, gear and accessories from third-party retailers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data when you visit, such as the pages you view, the searches and filters you use, your browser and device type, the referring page, and your approximate location at the city or region level. This is collected through Google Analytics and our hosting providers' standard server logs.
Information you choose to give us. We only collect personal information you provide directly, for example:
Location. To show campgrounds near you on the homepage, we estimate your approximate location (city level) from your IP address. If you choose "Use my current location," your browser asks your permission and shares your device's location for that search only. We use location just to find nearby campgrounds; we do not store it or link it to you.
You can search and browse the entire Site without creating an account or giving us any personal information.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of ParkedRV, our users or others.
Campground, RV park and state park pages link to outside websites, such as park operators and reservation services. Our Featured Products and Shop RV Gear pages link to third-party retailers, and some of those links may be affiliate links, which means ParkedRV may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. When you follow a link off the Site, the other website's own privacy policy applies, and that site may use its own cookies or tracking. We don't control and aren't responsible for how those sites handle your information.
ParkedRV does not currently accept listings from campground, lot or land owners, and we are not collecting owner or listing information at this time. We plan to offer owner listings in the future. Before that feature launches, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain what information it collects, such as account details, listing details, photos and inquiries between guests and owners, and how that information is used and shared.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in (if you have an account), to remember basic preferences, to measure site usage through Google Analytics, and to protect forms against bots. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most of the Site will still work without them, though signing in may not.
Site data is stored with Supabase and our other service providers. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no website or online system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
ParkedRV is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when new features such as owner listings are added. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
