Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area is a great escape for outdoor enthusiasts who want a peaceful, uncrowded setting, with 5,700 acres including 4,000 acres of land and a 2,146-acre wildlife refuge on the western reaches. It is part of the Southwest Reservoirs group. In fall and winter a portion is designated as a wildlife refuge with limited facility development. Visitors boat from two ramps, fish for white bass, crappie, catfish, northern pike, wipers, and walleye, kayak, canoe, swim from one beach, picnic at 83 tables, and hunt. A fish cleaning station is provided. Camping is available in three areas (A, B, and Center Dam) with Electric Plus, Primitive, and Basic sites, modern restrooms, showers, and a dump station. Half the sites are reservable in peak season.
