Pembina Gorge State Park is North Dakota's 14th state park. It has a newly built campground near a trail system of more than 16 miles for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and OHV use. The Pembina River winds through the gorge and offers kayaking when conditions allow, with seasonal rentals. A snowmobile trail system connects the region. The multi-use trail is free to use for non-motorized and motorized traffic, including OHVs.
