Icelandic State Park sits on the shores of Lake Renwick and shows North Dakota's homesteading spirit. Established in 1964, the 912-acre park lets visitors learn about early settlement. Boating, swimming and fishing are summer favorites, and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are popular in winter. Picnic areas sit in the shade of old oaks. Camping includes modern, group and primitive sites.
