Lake Greenwood State Park lies on the shore of its namesake 11,400-acre lake in the Piedmont. It covers over 900 acres of hardwood forest and gently rolling hills. The park is a haven for boaters, anglers and campers. Trails wind through woodlands and along the shore, with wildlife and seasonal wildflowers to see. Picnic shelters and playgrounds serve families. The campground makes an easy overnight base for lake fishing and paddling.
