Lake Fort Smith is a scenic, well-kept park on the banks of Lake Fort Smith in the Boston Mountain Valley of the Ozarks, with camping, fishing, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking. It is the western end of the 240-mile Ozark Highlands Trail. The park has 30 campsites (20 Class AAA and 10 Class B), 10 cabins, a swimming pool, a marina with boat rentals, a pavilion, picnic sites, and group facilities including a dining hall and two group lodges. The visitor center is open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
