About this park

This golden sand beach offers a panoramic view of Block Island Sound and is known as one of the best saltwater fishing areas in South County. The parking lot is small and fills quickly on hot days, but there is plenty of space on the beach, though the surf can be strong. Facilities include restrooms and composting toilets, and a nearby boat launch gives access to the sound. A campground on the east side of the breachway accepts only fully self-contained RVs (75 sites, no tents or pop-ups).
