About this park
Barcelona Lighthouse is a historic Lake Erie lighthouse property near the Barcelona Harbor pier in Chautauqua County. Some areas of the grounds may be closed while a revitalization project continues. The site is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day, 10 am-5 pm, then weekends only through about December 20. Climbing the tower depends on weather, wind, staffing and construction. The ascent involves 47 steps; visitors sign a release, and children must be at least 54 inches tall and accompanied by an adult. Parking is nearby at the Daniel Reed Pier and the town lot at Route 5 and Route 394.
