At 20 miles long, Lake Chicot is the largest natural lake in Arkansas and the largest oxbow lake in North America. Anglers fish its waters year-round, and the park lies in one of the country's largest flyways, which makes it good for birdwatching. Park programs include lake tours. Overnight options are 14 cabins and 78 campsites, and the pavilions suit larger groups. The pool charges admission except for cabin guests, who get in free. The visitor center is open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
