About this park
Beachside is a small, exquisite campground a few miles south of Waldport, right beside miles of broad sandy beach good for kite flying and whale watching. Every campsite is seconds from the beach, which makes it ideal for watching storms and sunsets. It is a good midpoint stop on a coast trip. Within 30 miles in either direction are visitor centers, tidepools, hiking and driving tours, three lighthouses, crabbing, clamming and fishing. Campsites can be reserved online.
