The Quaker Area of Allegany State Park is known for its two lakes and its camping. It has a sandy swimming beach, two fishing piers and a canoe and kayak access point, and Friends Boat Launch opens the Allegany Reservoir to boaters. Hiking trails lead to naturally formed caves and through a mix of plant and wildlife habitats. Lodging includes campsites, cabins, cottages and group camps. Many visitors come simply to relax by the water, with picnic shelters available through ReserveAmerica.
