Hampson Archeological Museum State Park exhibits a nationally renowned collection from the Nodena site, a 15-acre palisaded village on the Mississippi River in what is now Mississippi County. The museum interprets the lives of the farming people who lived there from A.D. 1400 to 1650. It sits on the town square in Wilson, and staff lead group and private tours. The museum is open Wednesday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m., and is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and on major holidays.
