This small historic site in Manila honors Herman Davis, who grew up hunting nearby and became a scout and sharpshooter in World War I. He appeared on General John J. Pershing's list of the war's 100 great heroic stories and received the Distinguished Service Cross, the Croix de Guerre and the Medaille Militaire. The site preserves Davis's final resting place and has no park facilities. It is open all year, at the corner of Ark. 18B and Baltimore Street. The phone is the Arkansas State Parks main line.
