The 355-acre Tinkers Creek area is managed by Summit Metro Parks as part of Liberty Park. Swamp, wetland and other habitats make it a wonderful place to view wildlife. Bald eagles, shorebirds, sandhill cranes, otters, trumpeter swans and nesting migrants all live in this wetland park, and during spring and fall migration the marsh gives food and shelter to many waterfowl. Amenities include a short trail, restrooms, a rentable shelter house and an archery range, and fishing and carry-in boating are permitted on the pond.
