Rhode Island's most popular state beach, in the village of Misquamicut in Westerly, has over a half mile of beachfront and a modern beach facility with a playground, concessions, outdoor showers and shade gazebos. Parking often fills on sunny summer days, and extra entrance booths and new traffic patterns have been added to speed arrivals.
