Robbers Cave State Park preserves the untamed woods, bluffs and springs of the Sans Bois mountains in southeast Oklahoma. Ancient tribes, trappers and outlaws used these mountains, and the park is dedicated to the natural beauty and history of the area, with sandstone cliffs and pines. The park has a lodge, cabins and campsites, and an annual fall festival is held here. The resource-rich area has long drawn hunters, trappers and miners, and the park's name has several colorful origin stories.
