About this park
Kerr Lake State Recreation Area is a collection of eight access areas around a 50,000-acre reservoir in Vance and Warren counties on the Virginia border. Campers choose among seven campgrounds with hundreds of campsites. Every access has at least one boat ramp, giving entry to one of the best fishing lakes in the eastern United States. Community buildings and other amenities serve groups.
