Bear Creek State Park is one of the newest Texas state parks, set among the rugged hills of the Balcones Canyonlands. Steep canyons and ravines define this part of the Edwards Plateau, and woodlands, savannas and shrublands are home to the area's wildlife. Planners describe scenic views, shady riverbanks and vivid night skies. The park is not yet open. It is in the planning stage of development, and the listed address is a mailing address.
