Dillon State Park covers 2,285 acres of wooded hills and scenic valleys in east central Ohio. The area's history is tied to the story of transportation in the state, and the park's large lake invites boating with no horsepower limit, plus a marina and several boat ramps. On land, visitors hike forest trails, camp, ride horses, mountain bike and fish. An archery range at the Sled Hill parking lot offers 10-, 20-, 30- and 40-yard targets, so bring your own equipment because rentals are not provided. Dillon is also a good spot for stargazing, and in winter the sled hill is a draw for families.
