East Fork State Park covers 7,480 acres, including 4,870 acres of land and 2,160 acres of water, making it one of the largest state parks in Ohio. It lies only 25 miles from Cincinnati, with rolling hills, winding rivers and a large lake. Harsha Lake allows unlimited horsepower boating and is also excellent for paddling, fishing and swimming. The park has a large scenic campground, picnic shelters, a nature center and a vast trail system for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking and backpacking. Pets on a leash are welcome in all areas except the beach sand. Boat ramp closures for repairs occur from time to time, so check conditions before launching.
