Cayuga Lake State Park is flat at the lakeshore, where the beach and sun lawns are, then slopes gently uphill to the campsites and cabins. Its highlight is a wide view of Cayuga Lake. Anglers catch largemouth bass, bullheads and carp in the shallows and northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout and landlocked salmon in deeper water. The park has a boat launch, playground, playing field and four pavilions.
