Cape Blanco sits at the state's westernmost tip, perched over the Pacific, with a 19th-century lighthouse and an early Irish settler's home. Private, sheltered campsites make a good base camp. More than eight miles of hiking trails lead to the beach, ocean viewpoints, fishing spots along the Sixes River and the lighthouse. Campsites can be reserved online.
