Darien Lakes State Park has hilly terrain with woodland, ravines, streams and 12-acre Harlow Lake. It has 154 campsites, 141 with electricity and 13 primitive. Facilities include heated restrooms and showers, a beach, playgrounds, picnic areas, and fishing, hiking and horseback trails. A rustic bridge crosses the lake channel to Picnic Island. In winter, multiple-use trails open for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, and two picnic shelters can be reserved.
