Sarah Helmick is 6 miles south of Monmouth off Highway 99W. The small, shady park lies along the Luckiamute River, with big leaf maples providing shade. Two picnic areas for groups of up to 150 people each can be reserved, with electricity, water and picnic tables provided at each site.
