Branbury State Park is on the eastern shore of Lake Dunmore at the base of Mount Moosalamoo, with the Green Mountain National Forest bordering the park to the east. The 69-acre park was once a farm, guest house, summer boys' camp and private beach, and became Branbury (Brandon-Salisbury) State Park in 1945. It has a 1,000-foot natural sandy beach and clear water for swimming. Season runs from the second weekend in May through the second Monday in October. Two screened shelters can be rented.
