About this park
Liberty State Park is a green oasis in the heart of northern New Jersey with the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as its backdrop. It serves as a gateway to the region's natural, cultural and historical resources. The historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal sits at the north end of the park. Also in the park are the Liberty Science Center, Liberty Landing Marina and the Empty Sky 9/11 memorial. The gate is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
