Bull Shoals-White River State Park lies on the shores of Bull Shoals Lake and the White River and is famous for world-class trout fishing. The 15,744-square-foot James A. Gaston Visitor Center sits high above Bull Shoals Dam and gives a view of the whole area. The visitor center has no camping. Campers use the park's camp area at 129 Bull Shoals Park, Lakeview, AR 72642. The visitor center is open daily 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on a few holidays, and the camper registration center keeps seasonal hours.
