The Pike Lake Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest lies in the middle of a strip of glacial landforms across southeast Wisconsin. It is named for the 522-acre spring-fed kettle lake, and Powder Hill, a large glacial kame, gives a vantage point. The unit is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. year round.
