Northwood Meadows State Park covers 674.5 acres with a vast wetlands area and woodland trails for use in several seasons. The dam drain failed in 2018 and emptied the lake, and reconstruction work was scheduled to begin in 2025. Visitors fish, hike, canoe, ride horses, mountain bike, picnic and enjoy winter sports. The park is not staffed and has only a pit toilet.
