Round Valley Reservoir covers 2,350 acres, reaches about 180 feet deep and is New Jersey's largest reservoir and its second deepest lake, holding up to 55 billion gallons at capacity. The Cushetunk Mountains frame it for boating, camping, fishing and picnicking, with lifeguarded swimming in summer. The gate is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
