Bucktail State Park Natural Area provides a 75-mile scenic drive along PA 120 from Emporium through Renovo to Lock Haven. It follows a narrow valley known as the Bucktail Trail, named for the Civil War regiment of woodsmen called the Bucktails. The route is also the old Sinnemahoning Trail used by Native Americans traveling toward the eastern continental divide. It is a scenic corridor for day use rather than a developed campground.
