Sinnemahoning State Park lies near the center of the steep-valley region of the Pennsylvania Wilds and encompasses 1,910 acres of scenery and wildlife habitat. Situated in Cameron and Potter counties, it is nestled between Elk State Forest and Susquehannock State Forest. The park is long and narrow and includes land on both sides of First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek. It offers camping cottages, RV and tent camping, and cabins. A community-focused, admission-free book and arts event is held annually on the second Saturday of October.
