Big Hill Pond State Park covers about 4,300 acres of timberland and hardwood bottomland in southwest Tennessee, near the Mississippi border. It is a good place for people who like swamps and big sky. Visitors can climb an observation tower for panoramic views, explore the Dismal Swamp ecosystem by boardwalk and trail, and paddle across Travis McNatt Lake. A campground provides overnight stays. Hiking, birdwatching, fishing and boating are popular.
