Niobrara State Park sits at the confluence of the Niobrara and Missouri rivers on Nebraska's northeastern border, with scenic river views and wildlife habitat. Visitors hike, bike, ride 14 miles of equestrian trails, fish, boat, swim, and watch wildlife. Horseback trail rides cost $30 per person. The J. Alan Cramer Interpretive Center, summer buffalo cookouts, a modern swimming pool, and telescope rental Star Packages at $10 per night add to the experience, and Eagle View Group Lodge is available for groups. Lodging includes 19 cabins with two or three bedrooms, reservable up to a year ahead, and two three-bedroom yurts with viewing domes that sleep seven. Campers choose Electric Plus and Basic sites, including 30 basic sites without electricity, and equestrian camping covers 120 acres.
