Sterling Forest State Park covers 21,935 acres of nearly pristine forest in one of the nation's most densely populated areas. It is a watershed for millions of people. The unbroken deep-forest habitat matters to many resident and migratory species, including black bear, hawks, songbirds and rare invertebrates and plants. Hunting, fishing and hiking are available.
