Camp Floyd was where the U.S. Army, Mormon pioneers, stagecoach travelers and the Pony Express met. The Army arrived in 1858 to suppress a supposed Mormon rebellion and stayed three years before being recalled for the Civil War. The park has three structures and a cemetery, plus a museum and the Stagecoach Inn.
