Mine Kill State Park is in the Schoharie Valley and overlooks the Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project. The lower reservoir is stocked with trout and walleye and suits motor boating, kayaking and water skiing. Mine Kill Falls, for which the park is named, drops 80 feet through a narrow gorge, with a separate parking area a quarter-mile south of the main entrance. Fishing includes bass and several other species.
