About this park

Schuyler Mansion was the home of Philip J. Schuyler, a Revolutionary War major general, U.S. senator and businessman, and his wife Catharine Van Rensselaer, who came from powerful Dutch families and raised eight children here. The Georgian house stands on a bluff above the Hudson River, on land that once held an orchard, formal gardens and a working farm. From May 13 to October 31, 2026 it is open Wednesday-Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The grounds and visitor center are free, and the mansion interior is seen by guided tour only, hourly from 11 a.m., with reservations advised.
