Lorenzo is the 1807 Federal-style home of John Lincklaen, Holland Land Company agent and founder of Cazenovia. The Lincklaen/Ledyard family lived here continuously until the property and its contents passed to New York State in 1968, and the site interprets everyone who lived and worked there, including enslaved people, servants and employees. From May 15 to October 12, 2026 it is open Wednesday-Sunday and Monday holidays, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the last tour at 4 p.m. The visitor center and museum shop are open during those hours and the grounds are open daily dawn to dusk.
