Cattail Cove State Park near Lake Havasu City sits on a quiet cove of Lake Havasu, the reservoir on the Colorado River. The park offers a calmer, more natural alternative to the busier areas of the lake. A sandy beach and boat launch make it easy to get on the water for swimming, boating, kayaking and fishing. The park has 61 campsites, and its coves and desert hillsides provide pleasant scenery from sunrise to sunset. Entry is $10 per vehicle with one person, $20 per vehicle with two to four people, and $5 for individuals or bikes, with camping at $25 to $50 per night. Weekdays are quieter, especially in summer.
