About this park
Randall Creek Recreation Area is on the Missouri River below Fort Randall Dam. Visitors spend hours watching the water, observing animals and birds, and enjoying the shoreline. The Army Corps of Engineers began building the dam in 1946. The park offers disc golf, basketball, volleyball, fishing, boating and paddling, with camping cabins and campsites. Camping and vehicle traffic in the campgrounds are prohibited in late fall and winter.
