It is used for boating, camping, fishing, hunting, and picnicking, with river fishing for walleye, sauger, channel catfish, and common carp. The area has one dock and one boat ramp, nine picnic tables, nine grills, and one shelter. Camping is first-come, first-served at six primitive sites without electricity, with vault restrooms and no potable water. Fees are paid at an Iron Ranger with cash or check. There is no on-site lodging.
