Jacques Cartier State Park has a sheltered bay that protects its sandy swimming beach and the campers' dock. Unlimited boating and excellent fishing are its two biggest draws. Large open lawns invite games and picnics, and a playground and a forested picnic ground are nearby. Cross-country skiing is allowed in winter. One pavilion holds up to 48 people.
