Elmore State Park lies on Lake Elmore, a 219-acre lake in southeastern Lamoille County. The Town of Lake Elmore calls itself the Beauty Spot of Vermont. The area is mostly forested and agricultural, and Elmore Mountain rises almost from the lake's shore. The park has an open-air pavilion, a function room and a beach house available to rent. Season runs from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through the second Monday in October.
